Every fitness app on the planet promises to create a personalized program for you. We tested every single one of the top 50 fitness apps worldwide. It’s a marketing lie. All you get asked are three to five standard questions about age, gender, height, weight and most of the time one question with a slider where you are asked to tell your current “fitness level”. That is not enough to create a program that lives up to the promise of “individual and personalized”.

So we decided to go all out and deliver what we promise. Sensei will ask you 40 questions regarding everything that is important and give you a program just as if a world class fitness coach was there to create it for you.

Test

HOW IS YOUR CURRENT SITUATION

In the first step the Sensei tests your functional anatomy. That means that every joint that is required for your karate, is tested in all ranges of motion for strength, flexibility and stability. Additionally side to side differences are uncovered and findings are added to the collected information.

INTERPRETATION

CONNECTING THE DOTS

Sensei combines all findings of your test and gets an understanding of your current situation. This enables the Sensei to choose exercises that are suited for your current situation and add them to your program.

RECOMMENDATION

SENSEI CHOOSES YOUR EXERCISES

Based on Senseis Interpretation of your current situation a complete four week training program is created that picks you up exactly where you are right now. Exercise variations, repetitions, weight, sets, subjective exhaustion and every other relevant parameter are calculated for you. Every exercise given comes with a detailed explanation on why this exercise is important for you and why it was added to your program.

TRAIN

“WAX ON, WAX OFF...”

Now it is time to start your training. You received your tailor-made training program and are ready to start. Detailed descriptions for every exercise given will be there to support you. If you find an exercise too difficult or too easy you can change the exercise variation in up to six levels. That way you keep full control of your training and you are able to adjust the plan to your daily energy level.

RETEST

CHECK YOUR PROGRESS

After completing all training days of the four week cycle you will be asked to test yourself again. Sensei will save your first cycle data and create a new four week program based on your improvements. This cycle will keep repeating itself until you reach your goal.
